Pavlov VR Review

8.8 Total Score
Very Good

Pavlov VR is often called, 'the CS:GO of VR' and I can agree, somewhat. It has a real community, player leagues, and a great variety of weapons and maps. This game has so much of its own unique content, and has so much mod-support, that it also could easily be called 'the Gmod of VR' as well. Lots of fun to be had if you find the right group of players. Team work makes the dream work... for the most part. There are several interesting things about playing a shooter in VR, for one, you can be much more expressive as a main character. You can wave to your friends, you can give high fives, you can beg for mercy, and you can act like a human being. I think the fact that there's location based voice chat makes a huge difference as well, playing this in VR, while you don't exactly feel like you're "really there", there is a sense of community with the other players in the game that you don't normally have. The graphics are pretty good for VR, not exceptional, but good for VR. Weapons feel great to wield, and reloading is very realistic. Pretty much the gold standard in multiplayer VR FPS. It's beyond cool to play Aztec, Dust, and Militia in VR. Very stable, doesn't crash and easy to learn. This is THE VR shooter game we've all been waiting for. Do not hesitate to get it if you like shooting stuff.
